Just wanted to start a thread for people who applied to UCLA's new grad nurse residency program! Lets keep each other updated!

Did anyone else interview with 8ICU (transplant) and know how many people they are hiring? They interviewed ~25 people so just curious..

It's an email that HR sends out for references. You'll need 5 and you'll input their emails in and they'll basic write a quick reference about you!

Yes, every unit does it. HR should be the one sending it. It's from "UCLA Health System Recruiting"

I'm an internal applicant so we don't get them, as it was part of the initial hiring process. However, a few external applicants I know have started receiving the emails, so be on the lookout!

I also applied to 8ICU. They told me about 8 new grads, however this number can change based on applications, interviews etc. I also called the HR office yesterday just to confirm when to expect to hear back. And the lady said it will probably be after the holidays for 8ICU. So after the holidays- 2nd week of Jan. She also explained that it may be a phone call vs email as the managers prefer to contact you directly. So I will basically have my phone in my hand ready to answer any call from now until Jan :)
