UCLA New Grad Program Winter 2016

Published

Hi everyone!

The application for the new grad program at UCLA for the Winter 2016 cohort opens today. Finally! It feels like I've been waiting in anticipation for so long. Any other hopefuls applying for this cohort? I figured I'd start a thread so we could update each other on the status of our applications and such... I know I've poured over many threads from the past cohorts to try to get more info!

Good luck everyone who is applying!

Hello @cali_love918 O.R. would be my dream job. Good luck to all of us!!

Hi everyone!

First time posting on here, my first pick was OR then PICU and Oncology. I applied on 10/9/2015 and my status changed to "routed to interviewing supervisor" on 10/28/2015. I received an email for an interview on 10/5/2015 for OR at around 5:30pm and scheduled my interview in December. I am currently doing my practicum in the OR at LLUCH and I love it. I am so nervous I have not interviewed in a long time and hoping not to crash and burn lol.

@abbysueee I will be interviewing for the same unit as you too! Good luck! :)

Hey! Are you interviewing for Intermediate care unit? I actually applied to MICU, Tele/observation, Med-Surg. But they offered me an interview elsewhere! Though I'm not complaining :) I love step-down and definitely would have chose it originally if it was an option.

** I meant that I received an email for an interview on 11/5/2015.

Just received an invite to interview for the Emergency Department! This was my first choice. Hope we all do well on our interviews!

I just got an email invite to interview for Perinatal! Good luck to all!

I got an email for perinatal too! What day is your interview?

Dec 7th :) What about yours?

Tele/observation was my first choice, then med/surg and OR! step-down would have been awesome!

Any other peds acute people out there interviewing with me on 12/9? 12/9 was the only day that was offered.

Specializes in Pediatric/Adult Oncology.

I just got an invite for Oncology! Don't lose hope just yet!
