Has anyone heard anything back from the UCLA New Grad Summer Program for 2010? I applied in the beginning of February and have only had a phone interview so far, with no feedback yet. Any info or others' experience would be much appreciated, thank you!
i've been calling UCLA's recruitment but they kept saying different things everytime I call. I called them yesterday and they said that I am still being considered since I have not receive a rejection email yet. They said that it just takes time as they have a ton of applicants. My status says assessment interview completed 2/19. And the lady said it is a good thing that it says that. But two days ago they said they have not sent rejection emails yet and they have not contacted people for in person interviews yet but I told them about people having in-person interviews scheduled as per allnurses.com thread but she said that it might not be realiable. I don't even know who to believe anymore. But whoever got interviews set already good for you guys and good luck! I'm still hoping that I will get a call soon though..although I already have a job lined up. I would still consider UCLA if they call!
Ok.. I just got a call back, and the guy I talked to said that there are two HR employees in the process of contacting their local candidates to set up in-person interviews. He said, "Hopefully you'll be getting a call from them in the next few days to set up an interview." I'm not sure if he meant that hopefully I'd hear from them soon than later, or hopefully I've made it past the next round... I should have asked him to be more specific.

No, my status still says we have contacted you for an interview on 2/24 for the original phone interview. I used to work for the UCLA medical center, and the way they update their application status is still beyond comprehension. I wouldn't get too caught up on "assessment complete" vs. "contacted you for interview".... the assessment is really what happens before you are even requested to have a phone interview. So obviously if you "passed" the assessment, you should have been contacted for the phone interview and reference check.
