UCLA New Grad Program 2010

Has anyone heard anything back from the UCLA New Grad Summer Program for 2010? I applied in the beginning of February and have only had a phone interview so far, with no feedback yet. Any info or others' experience would be much appreciated, thank you!

My good friend was contacted today for an interview.
What department did she apply to? It seems as though they're calling based on unit, so it would be nice to know what unit she wants :)

I believe they were Matenity/Labor & Delivery, PICU, and NICU.

A friend was just offered a position on the spot on a Geriatric step down unit, I believe — starts July 12th! Another friend has a NICU interview early next week :)

Do any other RN's out there have any new information about the UCLA interviews or calls taking place this week? It's pretty quiet on this end. :confused:

Eep I interviewed on 5/19 with the senior nurse recruiter (phone interview as I was in PA for school) and she said she was going to finish interviews and let us know within a couple weeks. I emailed her in the beginning of June to tell her I had graduated and was home in CA and able to drive down for a unit interview and... nothing. No response yet.

I didn't apply for ICU positions though sooo.. still holding out hope.

My app status says "in review" for 5/19, don't know what that means. Frustrating.

It is my understanding that the only ICUs that have interviewed individually were PICU and NICU, so all those who applied to ICUs other than that can still keep waiting for that phone call....

Congratulations! I saw your PM, but I'm unable to respond yet.

I recently accepted UCLA's offer too, so I guess we'll be in the same cohort.
