I created this thread for those who applied to the UCLA OR Training Program starting Fall 2022- October, so we can talk about updates and new progresses.

Thank you for making the thread. I applied yesterday. I had my preceptorship in the trauma ICU so I hope that helps. ?

Thanks for creating this! I applied the 23rd and had my capstone in the ED. Do you guys have any ideas on when we should hear back?

Hi everyone! IDK if this applies to me but I applied for the “experienced RN OR training program”. I’ve been an RN for 2 years at an outpatient surgery center as an OR circulator. Since I have no hospital experience, I’m wondering if the hiring process is the same and we all get hired/trained in the same cohort or if we’re separate

Anyone got an interview yet? My status has been “In Review” for about a week or so.

Received an email to schedule an interview this morning, so they’re reviewing applications — best of luck to us all! ?? Does anyone know anyone that works there or went through this program? Just looking for any advice/tips/etc through the interview process, for those of us (myself included) that don’t know what to expect. ?

Same here! Did you or anyone receive the link to actually schedule an interview yet?

Hi, yes! The link came in a separate email and then after selecting a time, I received an additional email with the zoom link ?
