UCLA MECN 2021

Published

Hi everyone!

I am planning on applying to UCLA's MECN program for 2021 and since I did not see a thread here yet I wanted to get one going for us to share questions and concerns. Good luck to everyone!

@ASL Hopefully not! Last name starts with a R.

My email says my application was recommended but in the end of the email it says congratulations on your admittance. It’s a little confusing? Am I on or not since I’m “recommended”

You are in!

Just a heads up for those still waiting: my application status HAS NOT changed at all after receiving my acceptance email.

Congrats on everyone’s acceptances so far & thanks for the updates!! I’m hoping the rest of us hear back soon bc the anxiety is getting to me haha

Congrats!

Mind sharing your last initial LOL...

Congratulations, everyone! Do they send rejections the same day or does that come later?

Interesting...so if you just got notice maybe not alphabetical?

Specializes in Suffering.

I got my acceptance at 11:38am and my initials are V (first name) Q (last name) so really not sure how they are doing the order of sending the emails out? ?

It says: It is a pleasure to inform you, the School of Nursing recommended to UCLA Graduate Division, your admission into the Master’s Entry Clinical Nursing (MECN) Program beginning Fall Quarter, 2021. Please be advised that FINAL admission decisions are made by UCLA Graduate Division. You should receive the OFFICIAL notification from UCLA Graduate Divisions within a week’s time. This email will include a link to your official decision letter. This letter will contain important instructions on how to indicate your intent to register and how to complete a Statement of Legal Residence.

A little oddly worded.. but happy to be in! Now to figure out finaid.... rip

I don't see an application status change yet either
