Hi everyone!
I am planning on applying to UCLA's MECN program for 2021 and since I did not see a thread here yet I wanted to get one going for us to share questions and concerns. Good luck to everyone!

I haven’t gotten one so I can only assume I won’t be interviewing ? I also applied to 1 community college as my backup.
They had a set of emails go out for the EOA day but are just now supposed to be sending acceptions and rejections to the rest of the people now, but that's just what I heard from the western u thread on here ?
The status link is not likely to be updated first. The decision comes from the school of nursing which is separate from UCLA Grad Division.
Anyone accepted or put on the wait list will receive an email directly from school of nursing. Anyone who doesn’t get in will probably get a standard email from grad division after all acceptances have gone out.
I received my email on Feb 13 last year from Grad Division saying a decision had been made and giving me the link to log in to see the official letter.
Those who got in received personalized emails from MECN staff to let them know they were being recommended for admission to the program

Thank you! That's helpful to know. Wishing us all luck!

The schools I applied to seem to be running slightly behind in general. Could be that the committees are all having to meet and do this virtually instead of in-person because of COVID. I've also heard that because of hospital shortages and the need for vaccinators staff is overwhelmed - so patience is the word of the month. Hard I know. I'm just going to circle Feb 28th as the UCLA decision date, and if it comes earlier I can only be pleasantly surprised instead of disappointed.
UT Austin was due Monday and they notified us they won't be releasing it until end of the month.
Rush is only just starting interviews and won't release decisions until March 5th.
Marquette is my only school that has provided decisions. I'm waitlist...
