UCLA MECN 2016

Hey there, I am planning on applying to the UCLA MECN 2016 program and was wondering if anyone else out there was applying as well. Just curious about other applicants and hoping to go through this application process with some other people! Would love any feedback. Thanks :)

I am a MECN grad and still had a hard time getting hired. It took 9 months for me to get a job. Now, after 2 years, it's quite easy to get interviews and offers.

Would you say that now there are more openings for new nurses? Or is it that now you have experience that doors have opened? I am just trying to weigh the odds of finding an nursing job in the next 3 years (when I'll hopefully have a bsn) :-). Thank you!

Did anyone take the epidemiology class through UCB extension? What was the format of the class?

Does this program give more me points as an EMT + volunteer or does it max my points by just having the EMT job? Thanks!
