UCLA MECN Fall 2011

I saw that the MECN application for UCLA has been posted today. Is anyone applying to the Fall 2011 program?? I haven't found a thread going on yet...Maybe we can share our questions/concerns regarding the application process here.

Thats soo lame...and it wasn't even your mistake...just the recommender...anyway hopefully they will still allow it counted?

All i received was a "your application is complete" email.

Would you mind telling me when you received this email? I haven't heard anything from them...

Hi all,

I received an incomplete email as well. It seems i was missing a resume? I never saw that as a requirement for the application checklist?

A classmate pal of mine said he got his "your application is complete" email on Wednesday of this past week. I got my notification of my incomplete application via email the same day.

A resume or curriculum vitae was definitely part of the list of requirements for the MECN application. I suppose you were unable to make it to an information session because they mentioned a little more about it there. This requirement is also listed on their website under the "Application" tab from the UCLA Nursing MECN homepage: UCLA School of Nursing

I hope they will still allow your application to be considered :) :nurse:

Just for those of you who have not heard back yet, I spoke to the school and they have only gone thru students with lasts names earlier in the alphabet. My last name starts with an M, so they said they still haven't gotten that far yet.

Hmm, my last name starts with A and I have definitely not heard anything from them. Hopefully they are not going in order...

That classmate pal of mine said he found his notification email in his JUNK mail! So be sure to check there... It came from the male person of the 3 main folks (if you don't know who I mean, PM me!).

Oh they mentioned that they are working on A-F....I dont think its exactly Alphabetically, just everyone in that range.

Oh and what do they consider a high GRE score? I got a 1200, which I feel is just average

UCLA's MECN program does not use the GRE :)
