Hi, I thought I’d start a thread for those of us applying to uchealth’s new grad program beginning this Summer. Has anyone heard anything as far as interviews? Also do any previous applicants have any advice as far as the interview process goes?

They probably do accept 60 normally, if not more. Did you check your application status? I’m not convinced the October cycle will be any better because they lost a lot of money when they canceled elective surgeries. We’re not even getting tuition reimbursement till at least next year and I doubt we’ll get bonuses this year. Same, I definitely would rather work in a hospital. I probably sound like an idiot but where do I check the application status? I can't find it on their website, I just waited for an email or a call. Do you mean check it by emailing the recruiter?

When you submitted you application did you create an account? You should be able to sign in and check the status that way. I emailed the recruiter yesterday morning and didn’t get a response. I know others who have emailed and got a response about their application status though. I thought on the new grad info page it said they would send an email to everyone once all the positions are filled but IDK how accurate that is

Has anyone heard anything more?

I applied to the October start, and I received an email saying that my "multipage" document has been accepted and I should expect an interview request for the first week of September. Still two weeks out, but haven't heard any more.

Curious if you all have heard anything more, if not what more have you done to get a new grad job?

Hi there! I also applied to October cohort. I got an email awhile back saying my multi page document is accepted and being reviewed by units, and that the interviews timeline is still being discussed. Did you get an additional email after this saying the first weeks of September? Because mine never specified. Thanks!

Hi!

I also applied to the October cohort and I got an email awhile back talking about them sending the applications to the units but I have not heard anything else so I am nervous! Let me know if you guys hear anything!

I applied to the October cohort for all 3 locations (Fort Collins, Co Springs, and Denver) and this morning I got an email saying that I wasn't selected for the Denver cohort, but then just now I got an email saying to submit my references from the Denver recruiter. So I'm not sure what's up with that but this will be the third time I've applied to this residency program and I have never been asked to submit references until this time around. That's the only update I have!

Well, turns out it was in fact an accident and they didn’t even mean to contact me LOL. I am beginning to lose hope in getting a hospital job here ? Have any of you guys applied to the Centura Health residency program? I got asked to do a “one way video interview” via the Pymetrics app, curious if any of y’all have any experience with that?? ?

Oh no I am sorry to hear that! I was considering applying to the Centura health residency but nervous to move to Denver if I was to get a job with them, my friend did the one way interview with them before they closed it down and she said it wasn’t too bad but she felt she didn’t answer the questions that great! Maybe think of some practice interview questions? Or jot some ideas down. Good luck! I’d love to know about your process with centura health residency application.

I was just curious what the status of other people's applications are/ I'm debating emailing the recruiter but I'm not sure if they discourage that.
