UCF traditional BSN 2019

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hi

Anybody applying for UCF traditional BSN?

I am a transfer from VCC and submitted my undergraduate application last week.

My overall gpa is 4.0.

teas 72 ☹️ I will retake the test in the beginning of February or late January.

I'm seeing an undergraduate adviser next week and the nursing adviser on January to make sure I haven't missed anything.

I haven't taken any chemistry course and I'm not sure if it's mandatory or not to apply for the program.

I can’t wait until our scrubs arrive.

Anyone know what brand are good for shoes?

I was accepted to Daytona, but my preferred location was Orlando. Unfortunately waitlisted for Orlando. I live in Daytona currently (lived here for eight years now), but was hoping to relocate to Orlando which is why I picked that as the preference. I'm disappointed I was put on the waitlist and I've accepted both spots, but I wouldn't mind living in Daytona for another couple years if that means getting my nursing degree as a result. I really just do not like the area here (that's just me).

Well, hopefully we will both get into our first choice but if not.. we will be classmates! I will be commuting from Titusville.

You could go to a local community college in your area and apply for their ASN degree program. Upon hopeful acceptance and successful completion of the first semester, UCF will allow you to apply to their Florida college ASN-BSN concurrent program. The concurrent program is actually no longer limited to just Seminole State College and Valencia College. Also, the BSN portion of the concurrent program is all online even with Seminole State College and Valencia College I learned at an information session.

I already have my AA which is why the concurrent program kind of turned me off. I really just wanted my bachelor's degree in nursing. The UCF faculty is really passionate about the concurrent program though.

Sadly, I applied 3 times to my local community college's ASN program and was rejected all 3 times. This lead me to apply to UCF's Tradional BSN. Now I'll see if I'm lucky enough to get off of the waitlist.

I also earned my AA degree from that community college.

Does anyone know when the college of nursing will inform of us of any important dates such as orientation and/or the nursing meet and greet? I am attempting to plan a summer vacation but must work around these dates and the sooner the better of notification!

I emailed them and asked them when the orientation will be held. They said the mandatory orientation will be on August 22nd for all campuses. Times and dates are TBD later.

Hey! Has anyone made a Facebook page for the Daytona campus? I just got off the waitlist so I'm going to be looking for roommates!

What were your stats? I am also on the waitlist for Daytona and I am curious how low on the list I am.

has anyone on the orlando waitlist gotten off it?

Has anyone on the daytona waitlist gotten off yet?
