Hi
Anybody applying for UCF traditional BSN?
I am a transfer from VCC and submitted my undergraduate application last week.
My overall gpa is 4.0.
teas 72 â˜¹ï¸ I will retake the test in the beginning of February or late January.
I'm seeing an undergraduate adviser next week and the nursing adviser on January to make sure I haven't missed anything.
I haven't taken any chemistry course and I'm not sure if it's mandatory or not to apply for the program.

I don't have any relatives to stay with in that area either. Since I live in Brevard county, I pretty much have to stay here where I am for the moment.
I honestly thought that waitlisted applicants were selected randomly though.
There's no harm in applying though. Maybe things will work out ? I understand only getting loans, it helps with school, but it's still difficult to make ends meet.
I'm not sure how the waitlist works. I would imagine that it is based off stats, but I'm not sure what determines a person's position on the waitlist.

Also, I am 31... anyone else close to my age? I’m a late bloomer
I was accepted to Daytona, but my preferred location was Orlando. Unfortunately waitlisted for Orlando. I live in Daytona currently (lived here for eight years now), but was hoping to relocate to Orlando which is why I picked that as the preference. I'm disappointed I was put on the waitlist and I've accepted both spots, but I wouldn't mind living in Daytona for another couple years if that means getting my nursing degree as a result. I really just do not like the area here (that's just me).

You could go to a local community college in your area and apply for their ASN degree program. Upon hopeful acceptance and successful completion of the first semester, UCF will allow you to apply to their Florida college ASN-BSN concurrent program. The concurrent program is actually no longer limited to just Seminole State College and Valencia College. Also, the BSN portion of the concurrent program is all online even with Seminole State College and Valencia College I learned at an information session.
I already have my AA which is why the concurrent program kind of turned me off. I really just wanted my bachelor's degree in nursing. The UCF faculty is really passionate about the concurrent program though.

Not sure about orientation, MoA should be sent in 1-2 weeks. I already planned vacation to New York a month ago (non-refundable) so I’m praying orientation starts August.

I checked Facebook, class of 2019 had their orientation a week before class started. I’m assumming ours will be around that time.
I know there's a nursing meet and greet too where we get to meet our program mates I believe? It said on the college of nursing website this would be sometime in June/July.
And congratulations! I bet you're excited!
