UCF Summer 2018 Second Degree BSN

Is anyone else applying to the Summer 2018 Second Degree BSN cohort at the University of Central Florida? It seems like it is taking forever for the actual application to open up (January 1).

Hoping to see some other folks just as excited as I am!!

Waitlisted! I know they sent out separate emails in previous years to those on the waitlist indicating the likelihood of our acceptance based on our position, and I was just wondering if anyone knew if they were going to send out the same emails this time around?

I tried to call Nursing Student Services, but had to leave a message. I am sure they are being inundated with calls today. I thought maybe someone else who got waitlisted might have the answers in the meantime.

My thoughts:

1. I also applied to the Cocoa Traditional Program. Does anyone know if RSVPing to the waitlist will affect our other applications? (Also that decision is a whole month away... this is going to be a long month)

2. There was an e-mail awhile back about deferring admission to Fall 2018 if we were accepted to the Summer program. I was told I could wait to see if I was accepted. Now I'm wondering if I go back and do that and then end up with a spot, would that interfere with anything?

3. How would financial aid work for someone on the waitlist? If accepted at the last minute would it be too late for aid?

Also, CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who made it in.

Hey guys, changed the name of the FB group to "Class of 2019 UCF Second Degree BSN" to clarify the class. Some people are having issues joining because it's in the UCF network. You must be a part of that network and can easily join using a UCF email address. For those of you who aren't alumni, I believe you are assigned one upon admission to UCF?
