UCF Summer 2018 Second Degree BSN

Is anyone else applying to the Summer 2018 Second Degree BSN cohort at the University of Central Florida? It seems like it is taking forever for the actual application to open up (January 1).

Hoping to see some other folks just as excited as I am!!

I had the interview today and spoke with the faculty. they said they are releasing acceptance letters for the program next week. Charlene herself said she is sending letters out next week. Its possible I misunderstood but that is what I was told this morning.

The only way I could see that happening is if so many of you are going in for scholarship interviews that they are needing more time to figure out who wins What! In any case, spring break is next week , that would cause the delay simply because no one will be working next week. Let's hope you all find out this week. G8ergrad, you absolutely can accept your seat at UF and then pull out if you get an acceptance letter from UCF! So don't stress about that part.

But again, based on past history, it's always been invitations around this time. Please do NOT bug the faculty about the exact time/date of invitations. It looks bad. :p If it turns out they waited an extra couple of days to send out invites, it's ok, you'll still all be just as excited!! Try to relax and enjoy yourselves. I guess there's a decent amount of scholarship interviews to get through. You all must be a really strong group! Be proud of your accompishments thus far.

I just wanted to everyone luck and congratulations to those who were able to obtain scholarship interviews. I wasn't feeling nervous, but the anticipation has finally hit home- prepping myself for either outcome.

Thanks Lanntis! So if we don't hear back this week it'll probably be after Spring break? And we'll hear back about scholarships at the same time as whether we get in or not? For some reason I thought we didn't hear about scholarships until March 31st, no idea where I pulled that date from lol.

I called and asked about orientation a few weeks ago. We attend a different one and don't sign up until we are accepted! So no worries for now. Best of luck to everyone, the day is quickly approaching!! :)

That's correct, just because of how the break schedule falls. But hopefully it will be tomorrow for y'all!

I didn't get an interview but I haven't gotten a rejection email either. I'm assuming I didn't get it so I don't get my hopes crushed later lol

I got an email saying I didn't get the scholarship not too long ago. It also said we'd hear about the admission decision in the next week. What does that mean??! í ½í¸…

I didn't apply for it so I did not get anything regarding that.

But looks like ANG314 already got an answer.
