UCF Fall 2016 Traditional BSN Applicants

Published

Hello Guys!

I know in years past there have been threads created where people could share their stats and discuss the application process. The window to apply for Fall 2016 is right around the corner (Jan. 15 - Feb. 15) and I was surprised to not find a thread.

If you feel like sharing:

Overall GPA-

TEAS-

Prereq GPA-

I will add mine separately from the post! I hope we are all accepted and are able to turn this thread into a place where we can help each other out through the application and waiting processes!

The Facebook page is: UCF Basic BSN Class of 2018 :)

Anyone know if we can have a short lab coat instead of a clinical jacket? I know a lot of people are buying the used uniforms and lab coats from graduating students on the facebook page, and I haven't noticed any mention of the clinical jackets.

Hi

I know this is an old thread, but I have 2 questions:

1. Does UCF require letter of recommendation or any sort of nursing job experience?

2. Do I have to take chemistry to apply for UCF?

thank you in advance :)

UCF does not require a letter of recommendation. Chemistry is preferred but not required as long as you have a 3 credit physical or biological science that was taken at a Florida Public Institution.

I really appreciate your answer

thank you

does anyone have textbooks for sale?

It's best to search the facebook pages for each of the classes, or I would wait until the Accelerated class finished their first semester a few weeks before fall, since you'll probably have quite a few people wanting to sell their textbooks then. I'll be selling my first semester textbooks then myself, since I'm loaning them out to a friend going into the accelerated program this summer. Whatever you do, don't buy that $900 package they push at meet and greets and orientation. I bought it, and it's a huge waste of money in my opinion. Rent or buy used, you only need one book's online access and two books that you'll need for multiple semesters.

Hello, Ill be selling my textbooks!! lmk if you're interested

I am interested, but I would like to first start the classes to see which textbooks I actually need.
