  1. Why not take a travel nursing assignment in Florida first. They make more money and you can see if you like it there before moving.
  2. You can find the APG form on the College of Nursing website. Look under the admissions tab, then go to Bachelor's degrees. You will see a link for petition course. The instructions are on that form.
  3. "All classes have moved online, and students are asked not return to campus for at least two weeks. Essential campus operations are continuing, and most employees, with the exception of employees whose jobs cannot be performed remotely, are asked to begin working remotely starting Wednesday." <== Directly from the UCF website. I would give them some time to reply given this information.
  4. You do not have to attend the student orientation until you find out if you have been accepted to the nursing program.
  5. You do NOT need to have the AA degree before starting the program. This is directly from the UCF website: "RN to BSN applicants may not have more than three courses outstanding among General Education, Gordon Rule, and Foreign Language requirements prior to starting the BSN program, and these courses must be completed prior to taking 4000-level courses"
  6. Typically it is 6 to 8 weeks after the close of the application to hear back on admission decisions.
  7. Actually, this quote is directly from the UCF website "TEAS V scores will not be accepted after December 31, 2017. Students applying for a BSN program after December 31, 2017 must submit the new version, ATI TEAS, score." So, they will not accept the TEAS V after the end of this year.
  8. You should not worry about signing up for the UCF Orientation until you hear whether or not you have been accepted into the Nursing Program. Yes, this is the first year that UCF is having the Open House.
  9. Monday, May 15th is the start of Summer C term. However, there is a mandatory orientation that will happen before that date.
  10. Actually, it is the Seminole/UCF concurrent program that ranks you as being most competitive if you have all the prereqs completed.
  11. UCF receives a large volume of applications, there is no need to be concerned about seeing pending status for these items.
  12. UCF does not require a letter of recommendation. Chemistry is preferred but not required as long as you have a 3 credit physical or biological science that was taken at a Florida Public Institution.
