UCF 2013 Fall-Orlando generic BSN applicants?

Published

Starting a thread for others applying to this program!

What time slot were you guys wanting to take? I'd like to get either 830 or 930 arrival time.

I was thinking 9:30 or 10:30 :)

It would seem that they recalculate scores after they score the interviews.

Just checked my email, and I too have an interview :) So excited!! Usually I like to go first for things like this, but then the idea lingers that I want to go last to leave an impression after everyone else :p. congrats to those who made it this far!

Who know how many spots there will be this year?

A little late to the party but I got my invite!

Hey guys! I was just accepted to the accelerated program at UCF and wanted to say congrats on getting the interview invite! I wanted to share a link to a PDF of nursing admissions interview tips I used to prepare:

http://www.career.arizona.edu/docs/default-source/interviewing/nursing-school-admissions-interviews.pdf?sfvrsn=0

Definitely wear a suit!! In conservative colors like navy, charcoal, black, etc. I wore a navy pant suit with a white button-down blouse and black closed toes black heels. Follow the guidelines on this link and you can't go wrong! :) Good luck!!

Wow thank you for the advice ! Congrats by the way !!!!

Congrats to everyone that got an interview invite!!! I'm sure everyone here will do great! I'm headed to the Accelerated program so there is one less applicant in the pool.

Remember to not freak out about the interview- it is super friendly and not there to scare you. Most people dressed in a suit or a blazer/slacks/skirt combo. Be open, honest, keep your answers direct. You'll all do great, I'm sure!!!

Congrats on your interviews, everyone!

I would definitely rather do an early interview rather than late.. Maybe 9:30 or 10:30 and thanks for the link!

I also got an interview! SO excited and nervous now! I'm probably going for a later interview (shooting for 1:30) because I have classes in the morning.

I'm going to start writing up mock answers to some generic questions they may ask ("Why do you want to be a nurse?") and go suit shopping soon!

Got the invitation too! :) So so happy but so nervous! I don't really have any experience or any volunteering to talk about. So I'm super nervous! Congratulations to everyone! I hope everyone gets in!
