UCF Fall 2011 Hopefuls

Hello! I am applying for the nursing program at UCF for the Fall of 2011. I am really excited and really hope that I get accepted. Is there anybody else on here that has applied yet or is planning to apply?

Hey guys, i'm so happy for you all! I was just curious of what your gpa's and teas test scores were of those of you who got in? Anyone know what the average was?

A bit of ancient history, but I got in the Summer 2010 class. My previous GPA was 3.3 and my prereq GPA was 4.0. We took the TEAS at the beginning of the first semester after we were accepted and I scored 95%. I know that has since changed to become part of the qualifying criteria.

Actually..I think I found out how to find it. I typed in "ucf nursing 2013" into the search bar and once it was done searching, I clicked the "Groups" link on the top left and I found it, "UCF College of Nursing - Class of 2013" correct? =)

Does anyone know if you have to have your AA completed before you apply for the UCF nursing program? I'll finish my AA may of 2012 and will be applying for fall of 2012

No. You just need 7 of the 9 prerequisites, including chemistry, before you apply and then have the rest finished before the program starts.

Hi! I was accepted (but am declining); my overall GPA is a 3.73 and I had an 85.3% on the TEAS V. Hope that helps some! :)

GPA is 4.0 (all classes) and i got an 88.7% on the TEAS. Not sure what the average was for those of us that were accepted. I'll probably be declining my seat though...but most likely not until the last possible moment.

i have a 3.98 gpa (4.0 in all pre-reqs) and a 90.2 on TEAs. It was def. super competitive this year.

I'm on the waitlist. But I just found out that I'm on the upper of the upper half of 45 people! I'm so excited.. That's the best news I've had in so long.
