UCF Fall 2011 Hopefuls

Hello! I am applying for the nursing program at UCF for the Fall of 2011. I am really excited and really hope that I get accepted. Is there anybody else on here that has applied yet or is planning to apply?

I've been reading the thread off and on but just now signed up for allnurses.

I applied for the Basic BSN program at UCF for the fall. I got an email saying I was offered conditional acceptance. Is this what everyone elses said? I'm sooo excited but afraid to get ahead of myself. I dont know what "conditional" means (other than the background check and finishing my current classes).

Yes, that just means we have to complete all of the steps that they tell us to before we can start. Congrats!

This is on the nursing website:

Applicants who are provisionally accepted must complete and submit all required documents (proof of immunizations, health form, CPR certification, and active health insurance), as well as background check and fingerprinting to CertifiedBackground.com. Waitlisted students are encouraged to do the same so they are ready to join the program should a seat become available.

But they'll send us more info about what to do.

Thanks! I saw in the email that they are going to send more info as soon as we accept our spot in the program. I was just hoping that's what everyone's acceptance said, not just mine. Congrats to you too! I'm super excited!!

I was conditionally accepted too. It is because I am going to finish my A.A. degree mid-summer. As long as our plans stay their course, and we don't drop something, we have the same offer of acceptance that the others have.

I was conditionally accepted too and I finished my AA in the Fall. I think it says that for everybody.

I think that they put it because we need to turn in a bunch of stuff to be fully accepted, like the background check and everything.
