UCF 2015 FALL BSN traditional program

Published

Hello, I plan on applying to UCF's traditional BSN program in the fall of 2015. Although there is still some time before the application period begins I wanted to start this thread to get the ball rolling for all of us that plan on applying. Also I wanted to see what the application pool is looking like for this cycle in regards to stats. Mine go as this:

Cum. GPA: 3.73

Pre. Req. GPA: 3.84

as for the teas I take it next month

(Wish me luck I've been studying a lot for it, so if u have any tips feel free..lol)

Hope to be hearing back from some of you prospective students with your stats, questions/comments w.e it may be :)

P.s. past students that want to share their experience with the UCF program so far, are also welcome :)

Officially 4 weeks after! Should be getting a notification between now and the next two weeks. Good luck everyone and let us know if you received something

The email I received last week said it would be early April! Hope it's sooner than later!

I received that email stating early April as well. Sooner would most definitely be better haha!

That's weird I didn't get an email. To your ucf email or to another?

I didn't get an email either!

I'm a little scared as to why we didn't get one!

The Valencia and Seminole state college both are asn to bsn programs. What does that mean?

I don't know if this is what you meant but they both offer an ASN and are both partnered with UCF to offer dual-enrollment concurrent ASN-BSN programs.

Also it makes me more concerned that I did get an email since it was outlining other options available should a student not get accepted to UCF's traditional BSN lol.

OH I GOT THE EMAIL! I must have opened it and forgot about it because I never read any of it.. Thank you so much and yes that did help me! Any opinions on which state school is better?

I've been at Valencia for some time, just finished my AA like two weeks ago. I don't want to be biased haha, but really from what I understand both Seminole State and Valencia have amazing nursing programs so either one is a great choice. I do believe their ASN prereqs differ slightly but not by much.

Thank you for your feedback! How far away is valencia from ucf? I think I'm going to apply to valencia because I did not take bio just mcb and that's a prereq for SS college.

Well there are multiple campuses. The nursing program with Valencia is held on West Campus which is about 21 miles away from UCF BUT if you are doing the dual enrollment ASN-BSN concurrent program thing, UCF's portion of classes is almost entirely online I think.
