Hello, I plan on applying to UCF's traditional BSN program in the fall of 2015. Although there is still some time before the application period begins I wanted to start this thread to get the ball rolling for all of us that plan on applying. Also I wanted to see what the application pool is looking like for this cycle in regards to stats. Mine go as this:
Cum. GPA: 3.73
Pre. Req. GPA: 3.84
as for the teas I take it next month
(Wish me luck I've been studying a lot for it, so if u have any tips feel free..lol)
Hope to be hearing back from some of you prospective students with your stats, questions/comments w.e it may be :)
P.s. past students that want to share their experience with the UCF program so far, are also welcome :)
Hello! I'm an actual student at UCF's nursing program and I am on my second to last semester. I can say that it has been an incredible experience. The application process was a nightmare, but here I am! I remember getting my acceptance email sometime in April around 10:30pm...lol but anyways, if you guys have questions please feel free to ask me! [email protected]
Ok - Just a general question... What is your program of choice? The more I research and read, the more confused I am. I am a loan only student... I would love to complete the BSN Basic, but I feel like it's so much more expensive then the concurrent program with the same end result. And now, the concurrent program was changed to a 5 semesters vs. 7 semesters.

Accelerated decisions went out today!!! We shouldn't be too far behind them! Getting even more anxious.... This was the content of the email sent on 3/6...
Hello BSN Applicants,
I know that you are all anxiously awaiting your admission decisions for the Traditional BSN program for Fall 2015. I wish you all the best of luck. Decisions will not be out until early April so it is important to start considering all other BSN options at this point as well.
If you are interested in also applying for the Fall 2015 SSC Concurrent BSN or VC Concurrent BSN programs, it is important to start the process NOW. You will need to start by attending a specific information session at the State College (please note that SSC has very limited information sessions before the April 10 application deadline).
We recommend that you complete the admissions applications to Seminole State College and/or Valencia College NOW in preparation for the upcoming Nursing application deadlines. The Nursing application deadlines for the Concurrent BSN programs that start in Fall 2015 are as follows:
Seminole State College – April 6-10
Valencia College – May 1 -15
For more information about these Concurrent BSN programs, please visit Dual Enrollment Concurrent ASN-BSN | UCF College of Nursing Please make sure to check out the step-by-step guide available under the Application Process link for each program. Also note the additional prerequisites required for each program.
Please note that the information session for the UCF/Seminole State Concurrent BSN program is required https://www.seminolestate.edu/nursing/ and the information session for the UCF/Valencia Concurrent BSN program is strongly recommended Health Sciences - Valencia College
