I am a pre-nursing student attending UCF Orlando Campus. I am applying this summer to Cocoa Beach and Daytona Campuses to start Spring 2013! Eeek! I know there have been other forums regarding previous admissions to the program that have helped me to figure where I stand. I thought it would be nice to have a chance to meet each other, talk about our scores, and answer or ask questions regarding the application process!
@Bigfun71I plan on just wearing a shirt and tie as well. I feel that wearing a full suit is just a bit too much for an interview and if you look at a lot of websites they'll tell you business casual is what you should wear for interviews. A shirt and tie is just a step up from business casual so I think it'll be fine. I just don't want to look uncomfortable either since I'm also used to shorts and flip-flops.
i hope noone show up in shorts and flipflops lol I
m wearing shirt and tie for me.
well I'm guessing Friday we will be flooding here with good news.In the interview there was no question that I did not know cause I been working on this for years, like I said it came down to just being myself and answering questions will come easy. The initial intimadation of a possible multiple choice test at the beginning was confusing and I believe it was all part of the test to see how we would react under pressure...your life as a nurse student starts here! Good luck to everyone:)
Yea, when they handed me the Scantrons and told me to sit the other 4 people that were already there, it made me a little nervous, we were all thinking we had to take a test too. It definitely was no where near as unnerving as I thought it was going to be. I really liked that they had current students there to talk to us since I was there about an hour early. I learned a lot from them and the conversation kept my mind off the interview. I also had expected everyone of those questions after reading one of the threads on this site about nursing program interview questions. Overall my whole group did well, so I think it will be a tough decision. Good luck to everyone!
Hi everyone!
Does anyone remember the names of all interviewers? I was thinking about sending a thank-you e-mail to the interviewers and I just realized that, unfortunately, I remember only two of them by name, although their faces and stories were quite memorable. I didn't do that well during this interview, but I thought that at least I could thank them for taking the time to listen to my babbling
Thanks
