UCF Cocoa Beach/Daytona Spring 2013

Published

I am a pre-nursing student attending UCF Orlando Campus. I am applying this summer to Cocoa Beach and Daytona Campuses to start Spring 2013! Eeek! I know there have been other forums regarding previous admissions to the program that have helped me to figure where I stand. I thought it would be nice to have a chance to meet each other, talk about our scores, and answer or ask questions regarding the application process!

Hi everyone!

I just applied to UCF's accelerated nursing program and had 2 quick question's about the interview that weren't discussed in the information session.

1. How long were the group interviews?

2. We're the questions just getting to know about you or were there ethical/situational type questions as well?

Thanks and good luck in the program :)

each person was asked 3 or 4 questions with the option to refused to answer (obviously noone refused). Interview itself lasted about 15-20minutes. Just be yourself...if you know yourself, if you know why you want to be a nurse and know your strengths and weaknesses ,challanges etc. and how this will help you be successful in the program is all you need to know. If you try to "fake it" you probably won't be chosen...they want to get to know YOU got it? I really can't say exactly what questions was asked due to allnurses TOS, just be yourself and you will succeed at the interview.

hey bsnmom023:)....so im waiting to see if i can get into the spring 2014 ucf basic nursing program.......I have this whole fall semester free....Do you think I should maybe start reading/studying any nursing related books to help prepare for the beginning semester?...
