Hello there!
I will be applying to UCF's Basic BSN program that starts in the spring of 2015 at the Cocoa and Daytona campuses. The application window is from July 15th to August 16th. Anyone else planning to apply? :)
Hello Team!
I wonder when we will know? Any ideas...time right now is passing super slowwwwwww
I applied to Cocoa beach and Daytona.
I wonder if we will received an acceptance letter from both programs?
Can someone be accepted in both programs? How does that work?
Any one knows?
Science prerequisite:4.0
All prerequisites: 4.0
overall GPA: 3.257
TEA's score: 84.7
I know each applicant pool is different but realistically I don't think with my TEAS score I will get in to the program, but has anyone heard of someone getting in with a 78% TEAS? My GPA is only a 3.45 and Pre-req is a 3.8.
ANHH,
I just graduated from the Cocoa program and I had a 78% teas, 3.5 gpa, and a 3.3 pre req, so please don't lose hope!
Do you think if I called the College of Nursing and asked how many applicants there were this semester, would they give me any information? If someone already knows anything, can you let us all know? I think I may try calling. I just want to know what kind of chances we all have, don't they accept 36 for each campus? Anyone know how many have applied in previous semesters?
So I called UCF this morning and the woman I spoke to said there wasn't any information on the applicants for this spring, so she gave me the information for the applicants for Fall 2014. Which I know this is going to be pretty different than the regional campuses for spring term, but I thought it'd still be nice for you guys to know. So, the Orlando campus for the Fall 2014 BSN program had 432 applicants, only 412 of them were eligible to apply, and 120 were offered a spot in the program. I think those were the numbers, I don't remember exactly. And since they say the regional campuses are always less competitive than Orlando, I think this gives us really good odds. 1 spot for every 4 applicants seem pretty reasonable, so if our odds are better than that then I'm not really too worried.

I saw a forum from like a year or two ago that someone had a 4.0 GPA and their teas was below 78 (I think It was like 73)... They got put on the wait list, then someone dropped and they got in.
