Anyone else applying?
Hi PAco69~
I think you mentioned on another thread that you turned in your immunization form to UCF because they kept emailing you about it. Was this via your personal e-mail or one that UCF issued to you? Just concerned because I've not received e-mail from them and wonder if I slipped through the cracks. Glad to find this thread about waiting for UCF-- Like you, I have an interview coming up at UNF will be SO happy to get into either for the same $$$ reasons (out-of-state versus in-state, plus, let's face it, the weather is oh-so-much nicer for driving to clinicals...)

Hahaha, you're not kidding (about the weather) ... however I'm willing to battle it out again if it means going back to NY and attending a good program there. But I am waiting to see if I have an opportunity to stay here in FL, more so for money reasons though.
I was getting those emails via my UCF email account. It's the one I have on my profile in MyUCF as the primary email address. Have you logged in to your myUCF account? When you do, if you look under "Holds" it will tell you whether you need to submit your immunizations. If you're a new UCF admit, the 2 holds you should see are immunization and orientation. Right now I have only the orientation hold (until I attend at the end of March, assuming of course I get in), the immunization hold disappeared a few days after I mailed the form to them.
Just curious ...
So at one point does one's major change from Nursing-Pending to Nursing? I was just curious to know if this changes in myUCF in response to a decision being made.
I know at another school I applied to, the online system makes "changes" to one's account if they were accepted, even before a decision letter is received in the mail.
My status still says "Nursing Pending." I doubt it would change upon acceptance into the program since there are still many other factors that play a role in whether or not you actually start the program. (ex. failed drug screen, failed background check, etc.) I attended UCF in 2002 and I believe your status changes once you meet with an advisor to enroll in classes, but the process might have changed in the last few years.
I have also been checking my status to see if had changed at all. I was actually only recently able to pull up my degree audit online, and I have been checking it every couple of days. My acceptance came through for FAU on the 1st, and my status with them didn't change. I am still hoping UCF will come through, but at least I have been accepted to another program in case it doesn't.

OK .. worth a shot ...

Same here, been accepted elsewhere but wanting to hear from UCF (and UNF) before I make definite moves. Thankfully, the school that accepted me is VERY generous with deposit deadlines! I was able to pull up my degree audit recently too. I was afraid that something was wrong since I could not do it on my end for a while. Guess they are clearly working on things!
Do you guys think It is Possible to get accepted into UCF nursing program with an overall gpa of 3.4 and a nursing prereq gpa of 3.2 with an TEAS score of an 87%?
Hard to say, the demographics change every year and the applicant pool pushes the averages pretty high. But then again, one never knows what happens behind the scenes @ UCF.
