Oh haha? well yes if you already went to UCF that is why u aren’t getting mandatory orientation emails. I’m just wondering if we have to register before we find out if we get into the program??

I believe last year's cohort said something about not having to register until being accepting their invitation.

Wait list people shoul probably register and attend just to be on the safe side if they end up getting in.

I emailed them back and they said I can hold off on registering for orientation until the ABSN decisions are released.

I know 2 people in the 2020 cohort. I was surprised when one of them said that he got his invite March 20th of last year (he was not on the waitlist)...however several people have said that invites went out the first week of March last year (I think based on last year's thread)....I don't even know how to make sense of this ?

Wait seriously? Here I am constantly refreshing my email on the daily, hopefully we don’t have to wait so long for an answer ?

Liking at the UCF allnurses pages from the previous years, it looks like many found out on Feb 28th, the last Friday of the month. Hoping that means the 26th for us!

it would be nice if UCF was transparent with us and would tell us the week we would hear our decision. Or at least the latest we could get an answer.

So, I just talked to the person in the 2020 cohort. He confirmed he got the email Feb 28th. It will say "Congratulations from UCF nursing" or something like that. We will need to RSVP to that one. (He said to check everyday because you only get a few days to reply and he almost missed the deadline).

Then we will get a few more emails with no new info. And then 3 weeks later we will get a big email with 7 attachments to it.

I NOW have the butterflies ?

Ahhh what if we find out this Friday!! Last year their applications were updated to “eligible” on feb 13, ours was a little later then that so we MIGHT find out the week of march 5 but we will find out reallly soon

It's been a back and forth thing, but it hasn't been resolved yet and my app portal still says "denied ineligible". I've called/emailed multiple times over the past 2 days and no one has been able to definitively tell me whether or not my transcript has been updated into the database/what is going on. Mind you, they only needed confirmation of the one pre-req I was finishing in the fall ?

I'm mostly just f-ing angry LOL, especially if the reason I get rejected is because of someone else's clerical error. Waiting for these other schools (UF & USF) to release admissions decisions is making me anxious. So, we'll see...thanks for the encouragement!
