Hey fellow new grad applicants!
Just starting a discussion board for the UCSD Nurse Residency Program, July/Aug cohort... hope we can keep each other in the loop.

II. What School of Nursing did you attend/are you attending?
California State University, Stanislaus (RN-to-BSN)
and Modesto Junior College (ADN)

III. What floors/departments/units are you applying to?
(in order of preference)
1. Emergency Department (both)
2. Burn ICU
3. SICU
4. Telemetry PCU
5. PCU

Hi everyone! I applied to BMT, Med/Onc, Surg/Onc, and Tele back in April and haven't heard anything/had no status change. Was wondering what everyone's statuses are with these units? Thx!

Thank you so much ? at Swedish Edmonds! It’s like 25 min commute from Seattle. They have five different campuses throughout Washington.

hi congrats to anyone getting interviews! I am an external applicant and my apps still say "open" does anyone know what this means? does this mean they never received my applications? thanks!!

I’m interviewing for BMT.

I believe they all say “open” under “Job Status” no matter what.

on 5/17 my surg/onc got referred to the hiring dept, my other apps haven't changed status. staying hopeful!

surprisingly no, just clinicals in med surg/ICU

Update on Tele PCU: my status has changed to "Others More Competitive" ?

I am still sitting as "Referred to Hiring Manager" for IMU / PCU and no word at all on ED & Burn ICU.... But Monday is also my panel interview for the Johns Hopkins Adult ED / Nurse Residency Program in Baltimore. Really hoping for good news there ? 

And I'm rooting for all of you who are still in the running at UCSD! If you've made it this far, you're doing something right and you've got great things going for you. Whether or not you get a job offer!
