I thought it would be a good idea to post a forum for anyone who is applying to the University of Denver Traditional nursing program. I just finished my application about two weeks ago and I was wondering who all have done the same!?
I noticed it is a different schedule for interviews this year, it is much later now. We don't do interviews till January 12th and then we find out around February 15th.
Has anyone ever applied before? This is my first time.
Haha ok yeah I was just wondering if UC or CU. I knew the full name, just wondered if people referred to it as UC Denver or CU Denver typically
Totally! Sorry my answer didn't say but what I meant from my response was that it can be called either. The formal way is UCD but everyone normally says CU nursing :) so either one you say normally everyone knows what you are talking about.
Anyone else checking their email multiple times a day, just in case they decide to notify sooner than Friday? Yeah... me neither... haha!
Everyday! But knowing people who have applied in the past and looking at past forums, they normally wait till around 7-9 pm on the day they say they will send the email. So I would just expect that haha.
Torture! :-p I heard from one of my other schools last week (Penn, which is one of my top choices, along with Colorado and Duke) and I'm relieved/excited I got in there. But I'm dying to know re: Colorado. Unfortunately it doesn't sound like Duke will let me know a decision before I have to decide on Penn or Colorado if I'm lucky enough to get in there too, so really I guess it boils down to Penn and Colorado being my top 2 :-p
I wish these things were on timelines that were more synced up so that you don't have to decide on a school before you've heard back from others.
Total shot in the dark here-- but based on your post, I think you were in my interview group!! Congrats on your acceptance to Penn! That's amazing! Sitting on pins and needles over here!
