hello fellow new grads,

just wondering if anyone has heard anything from UC Davis for the new grad program starting in 2012!

Thank you robinson1211, I'm not sure whether or not others that interviewed for different units we're told the same but hopefully there is still hope for you if you applied in any other unit besides in their perinatal unit =) best of luck!!!!

I didn't remember if they had asked for a specific unit but if they did. I'm sure I asked for E.D. as that is where I did my preceptorship. It's been so long I can't remember what was in the app.:confused:

I just finished with my interview (phew) and have some statistics to share...there were around 1100 applications submitted for 29 positions. The nurse manager interviewing me received 35 apps forwarded from HR, and he's interviewing 12 candidates, and choosing 1. wow...

Hi lemonchiffon. I just wanted to know what unit you interviewed for? Also do you have any tips for people who have interviews coming up? Thanks and congrats on your interview and good luck!!

so i dunno what happened to all the comments after dec 14th but, i'm guessing that those that received emails for med/surg ICU have already been contacted for interviews?

Hi,

My friend and I both applied and interviewed for two different units in the new grad RN residency program scheduled to begin at the end of January next month. We were both offered jobs for our prospective choices and are excited to start! She received her job offer call last week and I received my job offer call yesterday. I hope the very best for those of you applying/interviewing for new grad positions!
