I wanted to start a thread on the upcoming residency program for UC Davis for Summer/Fall 2016!

Who has applied so far? What units?

Wanted to keep each other updated if we hear anything. :)

I said on the app that I wanted L&D (or postpartum)

Anyone receive a phone call for Telemetry Units or Post-op Surgical units?

Hi There, I was wondering if you are a recent grad, or had any idea if SICU is interviewing for both June/October? I have my heart set on SICU and haven't heard anything. I just graduated so was wondering if they would interview people for October cohort later on.

I graduated the first weekend in May. Not sure which start date I am interviewing for. Luckily i got my ATT number earlier this week and I am taking my NCLEX prior to the June start date so if needed I can start then. Good luck!

You're so lucky! I graduated the same time and have heard nothing.

I actually went on pearsonvue and registered and paid the $200 and within ten minutes had my ATT number. They contact the BRN and see if your eligible I guess. Not sure how long I would have had to wait if I didn't do that! If you applied for the BRN at least 90 days ago it might be worth it to give it a shot!

That's crazy, I paid Pearson at the same time I put in my application to the BRN.

If we applied to the BRN and registered with Pearson Vue around the same time (on March 1st) we should expect to hear back about our ATT via email correct?

Just wanted to give an update. I interviewed earlier this week and was told I was interviewing for the June 27th start date. So don't lose hope, they probably haven't started contacting people for the October start date!

Yes! What I learned from the process is that as soon as the BRN approves your app they will send out electronic notification to PV. If you already registered and paid PV they will email you your ATT as soon as they process the information sent by the BRN. Eventually the BRN also sends you their approval decision notice via snail mail.

Do you remember the name of the guy you interviewed with? I totally blanked right after he introduced himself and I didn't see his badge!
