Hi everyone!

Thought I would start a post so we can all keep each other updated on when we start hearing back from the units we applied to and the interview process!

What units did you all apply to?

Mine says "applied" as well. I called HR and he said that there were over 800 applicants and he's still screening. He said he MIGHT be able to send out the apps to the individual departments by next week. So, I'm guessing that's when we might see an update? Good luck everyone!!!

Hey does anyone know if you can apply in November if you graduate in December??

Yes, I applied in April, a month before I graduated.

Hey there, I am applying for the Fall 2020 Nurse Residency program. I see that we need to have:

1) Resume, 2) Cover Letter, 3) Online application, 4) Unofficial transcripts.... but do we need any letters of recommendation or references? The application is not yet open, but I want to be sure I have my ducks in a row prior to it opening.

Thank you for your time!

Hi! You don’t need recommendation letters for the application. I did include them in my nursing portfolio when I interviewed. Good luck!

Hi! Yes only for interview. Make sure your cover letter is perfect! Look at examples. If you are not good at writing get help. They do not hire into their ICU or ER. And take about 3-4 months to get back to you. Stanford is hiring into their Er and icu for their next cohort if that what your interest is.
