UC Davis Nurse Residency Program Fall 2019

Hi everyone!

Thought I would start a post so we can all keep each other updated on when we start hearing back from the units we applied to and the interview process!

What units did you all apply to?

HR says they're overwhelmed by screening the applications so they aren't taking calls right now.

Mine is also routed! What did everyone do their senior preceptorship in? Praying for plenty of available spots for everyone!!

Specializes in Neuro/Stroke PCU.

Mine preceptorship was in Mother-Baby/Prenatal, but they said they'd also consider me for ICU since I did extra hours outside of school in the Burn/Trauma ICU. I'd prefer the ICU, but we shall see!

I did my preceptorship in the Cardiac ICU and also did rotations in MICU and PICU!

Hi Friends. I just heard back from the NICU to schedule an interview. Just want to double check did anyone else get a call from them? Best of luck to everyone!

OMG I did my senior preceptorship in the NICU too and I'm hoping for a call too!! I'm anxiously holding onto my phone hoping I dont miss the call. Do you know if its a 916 number we're supposed to be looking out for?? Also, CONGRATS on getting an interview!! :)

Hi christinahlee, sorry for the late response. I believe it was a 937 # that contacted me. My interview is this week. I hope you get a call soon!

Sjtdavis - I just checked and mine actually still says "route" on it. How weird.
