Hello everyone! I thought I would start a thread for those of us applying so we can keep each other updated with interview calls, job offers, etc.

NaCl-ty, BSN did you hear back from L&D? I had my interview on the 21st got a call the next day to inform me about references request, but never heard anything after that..... not even a rejection... :-/

I never got a call! At least you made some headway. Hope you get a call. I am hoping for some luck for the April group.

I heard from a friend who is currently in the program from last year tell me that if they called to check for references, that they will at the very least let you know if you were not chosen via email from the nursing manager of the unit you interviewed on. Otherwise, he also said not hearing either way yet is a good sign because it's likely you may be a candidate for the April cohort, just an f.y.i. Still have hope!

so if we haven't heard anything at all yet...is it pretty safe to assume that they picked other applicants?

I called HR last week and talked someone in nurse recruitment. He said that the nurse managers are still deciding on the April cohort and that they may take as long as towards the end of March to let the nurse managers decide and to let those candidates know. There is still some hope.
