Hi everyone!
I'm starting this new thread for those interested in applying to UC Davis's Master's Entry Program Summer 2021 program. Hoping this will be a space where we all can ask questions/connect.
Hope you are all staying healthy!

I do know someone who got accepted while being on the waitlist. What's scary though is that no one knows their spot, but also, no one gets immediately rejected until the start or even a month into the program (there's only one person in the previous and current allnurses AND PA forums for UC Davis that admitted they were rejected). At this point, it's just a waiting game.

I am also waiting on more information from the school. From what I've heard, I think the current cohort creates a FB page for the upcoming cohort.

Seems that 2021 is less active than the previous threads but I hope someone from previous cohorts does make one so we can connect with students who have experienced it.

@Te751Hello! Graduate of the UCD MEPN program here and yes, the current cohort typically creates a FB group for the incoming cohort in the Spring to help with any questions about the program, supplies, etc. and they included the info on the group in our Welcome Packet, which was sent out in February. The Welcome Packet will have a TON of information and should answer a lot of questions about the program. As far a working during the program, I wouldn't recommend it, but we did have a handful of people in our who worked part-time/on-call. Hope this helps!
@nursecap I don't know an exact number but I believe there were probably half a dozen people accepted off the waitlist. The deadline for people offered admission to accept or decline was mid-April so many of them didn't find out until then, but I think it just depends on how quickly people make a decision.
