Just wanted to start a thread to see who is applying to this program and be able to share updates!

For those of you who have made it to secondaries, how's it going with writing your personal statement and diversity statements? Having fun yet?

I've been having some difficulty writing both. There's just a ton of overlap between the two statements, and also with the supplementary prompts. I don't want to sound too repetitive. How's the essays coming along for you?

Congrats to all of them who got accepted for secondary application. I also get an invitation for the graduate admission application. How is it going with you guys? Does anyone know that if we will have an interview for the UCDAvis MEPN program?

@sarahcat124 Sorry I had not seen this response earlier! Grad Studies is a separate application to UC Davis Graduate Programs, basically the "second round", but it is different than the initial acceptance into the nursing program itself. So you are correct, no guarantee you get accepted into the Graduate Studies even though you were accepted into the nursing program.

And I accepted my admittance to Johns Hopkins Entry-level Masters Program because it offered a little more for me personally in regards to opportunities in nursing. Davis was my 2nd choice though!

Hi all!

Happy that the site is up and running again! I hope you guys are having a great year so far! Anyone receive any updates? I was looking at last year's thread and people started hearing back on the 13th of this month, so I'm hoping that we start hearing back soon

I hope so too. Did you recently receive an email from UCD on 1/8/19 titled "You've completed your application", which basically informed us that we successfully submitted our apps back from Dec. 15 deadline?

I received an email about an hour ago. I GOT ACCEPTED!! This is my second time applying for the program as I was waitlisted last year. For those of you still waiting to hear back -- GOODLUCK!!

I just got an email stating that I was waitlisted but was wondering what you did differently when applying the second time around?

Hi Itr4n,

I drastically improved my secondary essays, revamped my resume, and changed one of my recommenders. A big part of it could be the applicant pool. I know that there were a lot of competitive applicants last year and it was probably difficult for them to pick between certain applicants.

congrats. I got notified today too around 4:22pm.
