UC Davis MEPN 2017

Hi all,

Anyone applying to the UC Davis MEPN program starting 2017? I'm finally taking the plunge and applying to masters entry programs/ABSN programs this year after being out of undergrad for nearly 3 years.

Looking forward to starting a conversation and hope we can use this space as a media to offer support to one another!

I'm curious to know the answers to those questions as well! Also..what are the chances they will start the interview process with this cohort?

I think I read somewhere that they aren't going to be doing interviews for this program...but now that I've said that I can't find anything to back it up...

actually decided to email them, and they said:

"At this time, we do not require interviews. A select pool of qualified applicants will receive an invitation to apply for UC Davis graduate admissions, our supplemental application, in the fall. Applicants should expect admissions offers to be announced no later than March 2017."

Looks like a long wait!:eek: Good luck everyone!

Thanks for asking! That is such a long wait... I think we are supposed to hear September if we have been invited to apply for the supplemental application.

Where else is everyone applying? I'm working on UCSF's application right now, and I am also applying to UCLA's MECN program in a couple months.

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the answers and questions, these were some of the ones I've had as well. I've applied to Samuel Merritt's Spring ELMSN program as well as their ABSN program. I'm also looking to apply to the Fall 2017 class for Samuel Merritt. :)

I too am applying to the UCSF MEPN and ELMSN program. Seems like there's an app due to a school every month for the rest of the year..ahh!

Hello everyone,

I submitted my NursingCAS application due on August 1, 2016. Does anyone know how UC Davis will be notifying us regarding whether or not we are invited to do another supplemental application? Mail or e-mail?

Hi everyone!

I too, have sent my application in July via Nursingcas and this waiting game is grueling. However, the status of my application through Nursingcas is super vague and does not indicate the status of my application from previous institution to which I applied for which is the UC Davis MEPN application for summer 2017 even though I paid and have sent my application in July!!! I'm trying to reach out to both UC Davis admissions and Nursingcas customer service to verify that Davis has even received my app. To be honest this entire application process is so stressful.

I just looked at the new NursingCAS portal and it doesn't really say anything about my app to Davis either. The only place I could find any record of it was under payment history. Let us know if they email you back!

Cheyenne - I was wondering about this recently and I looked at what the deadline is in the event that we are invited to do a supplemental. According to their website, the deadline for the UC Davis supplemental will be February 1st, so it could be quite awhile until they get back to us. :dead:
