From past cohort posts, it seems like they call for interviews on a rolling basis and dont just stop in January since they ask you what start date you prefer and if theres gaps in the February or April start then they try to keep filling them.

You may not be, but I believe you have to have a BSN or MSN completed for Davis.

Yeah since Davis is a magnet hospital they will only hire new grads at BSN or higher.

I saw someone posted on FB in the "RNInterview Tools" asking interview tips for the NICU at UC Davis so I guess they've already contacted people for interviews?

My application for OR New Grad Program says Not in consideration any longer.

My application for New Grad Residency Program says Application received still.

I am climbing the walls. I was not aware that the preference for unit meant that that is all I would be considered for. I would have just put med-surg because it is more likely where there are more positions open. Does anyone know if they will consider you for any other opening?

I don't think you could choose a unit for UCDMC, because they place you based on your preceptorship....at least thats what I heard. I also don't remember a section in the application where they asked what unit you preferred

I also can’t recall, but from reading some of the posts here in this thread I thought maybe I did choose... I have applied for so many positions and I know there was at least one position I applied for had that option.

Yeah all others I have applied to gave the option to select preferences but not UCDMC ?
