Hey!

Just wanted to start this for anyone looking to apply to the 2020 cycle for UBC accelerated nursing. Let's share what we'll be applying with and any other info :).

Hahaha I can relate you so much! I have reduced my checking time by once every two days. I guess I was just worrying more about the other schools I applied. Since they have already sent out some acceptances, I am starting to think I won't get into any of my choices.

Lucky you! I didn’t apply anywhere else. This is my only option.

I wonder if they’ll email us before updating SSC like they did last year. Thinking that is the only thing that’s made me not check it, just constantly refreshing my email ?

I didn't apply anywhere else either! My "backup" plan is just to complete a few more requirements for other schools and keep trying until I get in. However, UBC Nursing is definitely my first choice!

I applied at Douglas & Langara as well. I’ve heard from Langara but nothing from Douglas.

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if we have to send UBC our final transcript from this semester and how that works?

Yes you have to. Final transcript deadline is June 15/16 (not sure). Just have your school send it to them. I guess if you are accepted to the nursing program, and they haven’t received your final transcript, you might be given a conditional acceptance.

I think you just send in final transcripts if you get in right? I was planning on waiting ?

They don’t count this terms grades, so it probably doesn’t change anything to send in before or after.

How are you doing this week? I just got my grade back for A&P 2 and it went well! Yay!! 2 more weeks-ish!

If you get in, will your transcript be delivered by the deadline? My week is going well, just studying A&P, I have another exam by the end of the month. Did you submit an interim transcript of your A&P? Mine is a full 6credits, no A&P. 1 & 2.

Yeah they will be, they say as long as it’s dated to before the cut off then they accept it. So if they get it in July, but it says that it was sent in May then it’s fine. They got my undergrad transcripts way after the Jan 31 cut off because of delays ?

I took the two courses separately, so I sent in my December grades in January and don’t have interim grades for the second course. The transcript I sent in said that the second course was in progress, so I guess that counts as interim?
