Hi everybody! I haven't found an active discussion thread for September 2019 applicants to UBC's BSN program yet, so here is one!

That sounds like a good idea, i've been planning to send Ruxandra an email next week. Please let me know what you find out when she gets back to you! ?

I got an answer, basically just have to wait some more. I am eager to begin preparing but I guess I just have to be patient.
"It is hard to estimate your chances of admission at this time since the movement on the reserve list changes from year to year. Admitted applicants have until June 15th to accept/decline the offer. However, you may be notified earlier if you are offered admission.
If admitted to the program, you will receive information about the post-admission requirements that you have to complete."

Waitlist chances are always scary, but I'm crossing my fingers for you!!! If you want, I can forward to you my email admission package if you want to know what preparations you're required to do ? I don't think it's a hassle, nor is it unethical, haha.

That would be extremely helpful, thank you! I am placed high up on the waitlist so I think my chances are very high. My email is [email protected].

Okay, good to know, thank you! June 15th is so far from now... it's hard to be patient!

If you don't mind, could you also forward me the email as well? My email is [email protected]. ?

I'm not sure about how it worked with previous cohorts and their preferences
I’ve thought about mine! I live in North Van so naturally, clinical placements at Lions Gate, St. Paul’s and VGH make up my top 3.
