UBC BSN September 2015 Applicants

Alright who's applying to the UBC Vancouver BSN September 2015 intake? I'm a second year UBC science student who's applying :) Let's all support and communicate with each other for registration help and processing !

Just curious when we should be thinking we will hear from UBC? I know last year it was end of day today.....

On March 12th UBC confirmed with me that invitations for interviews would go in the next ten days. I assume those are business days, which would mean by this Thursday. Has anyone heard anything yet?

nothing yet - extremely nervous with every email notification. but by Thursday seems reasonable - last year it was Tuesday, March 25th.

well my sister who got in September 2012 said she heard about the 3rd week of March...and last year it was this week (Monday March 24th they started sending out offers), so I am hopeful it could be by end of day today....

is anyone as anxious/nervous as I am? I keep checking online every 30 minutes, and my emails constantly!!!

I am in the same boat. Constant email refreshing! I went back through the old threads of comments & noticed that the invitation emails vary from the 25th,26th and I even saw some comment that they were offered interviews on April 2nd!

aah, I cant wait until April 2nd! I do know they send the first wave of offers out, and whoever declines (likely if they've accepted at a different University) they go down the list to the next few applications that made it into the top....I also saw posted that they take the top 200 but I noticed by the interview schedule I believe from last year it was only 160 students.

Definitely feeling very nervous as the interview invitations should be sent out soon! Been checking emails constantly, a tad stressful!

I just noticed today they updated the blog!!! They said on Monday they will be sending out invitations in the next few days!!

I know we all knew this but I hadn't noticed they had updated the admissions blog...at least we know its in the works!

GAH. I'm so nervous too. And even more so upon noticing that the blog states that the A&P prerequisites must be completed within the past 7 years. I was under the impression that these courses needed to be completed by June 15 (which is why I am taking them this semester). Can someone please clarify whether that is the case? Thanks!

By the way, has anybody checked their UBC Student Services Centre to see if their status has changed?

I have been checking my status constantly, I see nothing yet!

From my understsnding, you just need to complete the course and have final transcripts in by June 15. I'm kinda in the same boat, I took the courses 7 years ago as of this June ans was told it's considered expired....and therefore I'm re-taking them through Athabasca and its been a pain! I've been trying to schedule exams etc but have been given the run around...it's basically going to be me writing 3 exams in the next 2 months in order to get it compete, that is assuming I get an interview.
