Hi guys

I applied to the program. I feel like my stats are good but im just nervous because I only had the minimal amount of prerequisites complete at time of application. Fingers crossed!

Hi there. I also applied for 2015 and have high hopes. I have lots of research experience, so I hope they look at that favorably. Rosewater and Katehugs, I took pharma at Cayuga CC over the summer and I have two pieces of advice for the exam: 1) Know every review question at the end of the SGA inside and out, and 2) remember the answers to every NCLEX question in the SGA. Thanks, 3hamsomelette! The online format of the class makes it kind of hard to figure out what's important, and since there are no exams before the final I have no idea what to expect the questions to be like. And good luck to you!

Since nursing is a career change for most of us, what were you all doing before this?

I just applied as well, and I'm beyond nervous waiting for a reply. For those of you taking Pharmacology at Cayuga, I took it this summer. The final is not bad, but don't wait till the last minute to do the SGA! Looks like everyone is in the same boat for overall GPA. How many prerequisites did you all have completes for your applications? Best of luck!

Pharmacology is the last of the prereqs for me -- I've finished all the others. If I get rejected, I'll have to assume it's because of my chemistry grade.

She never gave us grades on our discussions till the end of the class.

It's a little frustrating not knowing what to expect, grade-wise, for pharmacology, since right now all I have to go on is my quiz grades. I don't understand why the professor would do that to herself, leave all the grading go until the end of the semester.

Has anyone here heard anything yet from UB, other than an email to say that the application was received?

I agree, I did not like the professor for pharmacology at all. And anytime I asked a question it would take forever to get a 2 word response. Nothing on the application yet, they told me we wouldn't hear anything until December unless you are kissing information in your application.

Where did all of you take pathophysiology? Anyone took it or going to take it at UB in the spring? Would love to know how that class is. Considering taking it there or online at ECC but to be honest im so over this online thing.
