UAMS BSN Summer 2014

For anyone who has applied to the UAMS BSN program that begins in Summer 2014 or anyone who is currently in and/or has completed the program. I have applied and am currently going through the process. UAMS has contacted me for an interview next week. Does anyone have any insight on this? Or those who wish to just discuss the program or wait out the acceptance process feel free to join in.

I'm so eager to hear back!

I thought waiting to be accepted was annoying. I never realized how agonizing waiting for actual school to start would be!

I'm SO ready for the program to start. Hmph... 3 more months

I had went to the bookstore today but didn't want to buy anything like books till the offical list comes out! I heard they switch the books up to keep up with the current editions, so I thought I would wait! Did anyone hear any differently?

I did not hear anything but I did go ahead and purchase my books for the summer classes. They should start getting here any day now

Just wondering those of you who have gotten their acceptance letters have you finished all your pre-requisites? I'm still in Chemistry and then I will have all of mine completed.

Yes I had Chemistry & Statistics last semester. I am off this semester, I was just waiting to hear back from UAMS to move forward.

Where are you taking Chemistry?

ASU Beebe. I've been accepted to BHSLR for this upcoming fall semester and I've had my interview with UAMS.. Do you know if they will accept people now that are finishing up the pre-requisites or wait till closer to the end of this semester? I went ahead and paid the 100$ registration fee at Baptist just in case.

I was under the impression they would accept you conditionally based upon the completion of your prereq's with the proper required GPA. If anyone else has any other insight on this please feel free to jump in here.....

I am currently taking statistics this semester then I will be done. They conditionally accepted me and you will fully accepted once you get your transcripts to them that show you successfully completed the deficient credits with at least a C.

I heard also that 400 people applied but only 200 are being accepted 100 from each wave. Has anyone else heard that?
