UAMS BSN Summer 2014

For anyone who has applied to the UAMS BSN program that begins in Summer 2014 or anyone who is currently in and/or has completed the program. I have applied and am currently going through the process. UAMS has contacted me for an interview next week. Does anyone have any insight on this? Or those who wish to just discuss the program or wait out the acceptance process feel free to join in.

I just wanted to say congrats to everyone who has gotten accepted!!! I wish everyone the best of luck and am waiting patiently for m acceptance letter. Thanks for giving me a message board for support through these nervous times. For all of us who are still awaiting the good news lets keep our chins up, good things happen to good people.

I haven't mailed in the payment. I really wanted to wait until I could get my doctor to fill out that medical history document (so I could submit everything all at once). I think I'm going to go ahead and just send it tho.

Anyone have any idea when we will get our Financial Aid awards/packages? I was thinking maybe in April but since many of us have already received our acceptance letters maybe it will be even sooner.

Have you applied for financial aid? Or do they send out a package to everyone?

I've applied already (via FAFSA). I think the deadline is March 15.

By "awards/packages" I mean't what we will actually be awarded once the school determines your eligibility.

Yeah I have a doctors appointment tommorrow for my physical and I'm gonna send all the papers in at once! Less to worry about later!

I am getting my physical done first and sending everything in together. I have already applied for the Pell grant and it will not cover everything but I also get the Arkansas Challenge Scholarship so that will help out & everything after that I will be paying out of pocket for.

I am trying to get through it without student loans.
