UAMS BSN Summer 2014

For anyone who has applied to the UAMS BSN program that begins in Summer 2014 or anyone who is currently in and/or has completed the program. I have applied and am currently going through the process. UAMS has contacted me for an interview next week. Does anyone have any insight on this? Or those who wish to just discuss the program or wait out the acceptance process feel free to join in.

Hey everyone!!

I know some people got their award letters already *jealous side eye* lol, but I hadn't received mine yet, however!!! I was one of those lucky people who was chosen to be audited and had to send in all this extra paperwork. Was anyone else selected to do this? And has anyone that did the audit still waiting for their awards?

I got audited as well! But I still got my award letter last Thursday. I was prepared for it though because it always seems to happen to me. I'm sure you will get it soon.

I haven't. I went out and bought a bunch of stuff I don't necessarily need RIGHT NOW (stethoscope, books, etc...) and then realized I actually still need some money to pay my bills this month..lol.

I'll be waiting until the last minute now.

When is it REQUIRED to be complete by?

Idk! I thought it was required to register for classes. It's on our checklist with sending in immunizations and such. It takes about a week to get everything back so don't wait too late! It's $92 or something around that ball park.

Have you done the background check/drug test yet? If so, how long did it take to get back your results?

I was planning on getting it done on the 21st since I've already taken off work for the orientation. Then that would give it a week to get there by the 28th. That's probably cutting it a little close so I'll probably do it on the 19th. I was thinking we probably won't be able to register until Orientation but maybe they'll have everything in order before then.
