I just wanted to see who else will be applying for this year? I'm already excited to start classes next week for the last of my pre reqs. I just finished 12.5 years in the Air Force so I have 60 hours of college completed before joining. If anyone else is in A&P I or Micro with me let me know. I look forward to this year in many ways.
So I emailed UALR Nursing Admissions because I was wondering about the whole wait list process. The lady that emailed me back mentioned the "large applicant pool" twice in the email. Is this something they say every year, or was this actually a particularly competitive year? I hate that I don't know where I am on the wait list.
I need upper level electives from here on out. Thinking about taking Ecology with nursing 1300 and Genetics in the fall if schedule permits. Definitely some upper level art classes since that was my previous major.
Advanced First Aid and Exercise, Wellness, and Lifestyle are Upper Level. I don't know if they offer them in the summer but they start with 3000 and are 3-4 credits each. They are under HHPS. I'm taking Med Term with 1300 just to meet 6 hours but it is not Upper Level.
Is anyone taking any courses along with nurse 1300? To be considered a full time student for summer session II, you have to be enrolled in at least 4 credit hrs. NURS1300 is only 3 credit hours. So, I don't know what to take with NURS1300 to fulfill the 1 hr. I'm looking for a class that won't be too much with nurse1300. As I heard, nurse1300 is demanding.
I'm taking Med Term with 1300. I know 1300 is demanding but it is only 4-5 weeks. It will fly by especially with all the support we already have from each other!!

Oh I was told that I only needed 4 credit hours to receive my benefits for summer session two. Anyway the course that I need for my degree plan along with nurs1300, makes me enrolled in 6 credit hours.
