UALR RN Program Applicant 2015

Published

I just wanted to see who else will be applying for this year? I'm already excited to start classes next week for the last of my pre reqs. I just finished 12.5 years in the Air Force so I have 60 hours of college completed before joining. If anyone else is in A&P I or Micro with me let me know. I look forward to this year in many ways.

I did call yesterday and the lady on the phone said they may have to go into today with sending out letters. So fingers crossed!! I'm just over the wait honestly, at this point I am close to just committing to baptist and being done with it haha

Is anyone taking any courses along with nurse 1300? To be considered a full time student for summer session II, you have to be enrolled in at least 4 credit hrs. NURS1300 is only 3 credit hours. So, I don't know what to take with NURS1300 to fulfill the 1 hr. I'm looking for a class that won't be too much with nurse1300. As I heard, nurse1300 is demanding.

Full time in the summer is 6 hours. And yes I will be taking classes

I wish there was a way to know where I am on the wait list. I'm a nursing transfer student from South Alabama. I had to call their nursing dept. everyday for almost 2 weeks for my letter of good standing. I also am not sure if I should go ahead and register for other classes. Oh, the stress! Can anyone offer me some advice?

I was also accepted to the program! I got in the traditional route. I'm currently taking A&P 1 and need to figure out when to take A&P 2.

I'm taking it this summer. It starts right after Nursing 1300, but I'm pretty sure you may be able to fit it into your fall semester schedule. Get an advisor session and check.

Hey guys, I've been watching this page for sometime now and I just wanted to say that I will be attending UALR's nursing program as well. I got into the traditional even though I chose accelerated, with a gpa of a 3.5. Hopefully I can get accepted to the accelarated program because I am on the waiting list for it. I'm just so happy to be in!

@ladyvp05 omg I saw your posts from the 2014 thread, and I have some questions I would like to ask you, is there anyway I can get your email?

They are still sending out acceptance emails for that program. i had called today asking about the program I got into and the secretary told me admissions is sending out letters for the LPN to RN program and the Student to Rn program

are you just going to take a&p1 with your nursing school class in the summer or are you going to take it in the fall with other classes?

I'll inbox you

More than likely the LPNS may get a letter at the last minute. It's sad to say but they are probably waiting to see how many in our class will flunk out.
