NURS 1301. It's web-based and all summer

UPDATE!!! I got into accelerated options at UALR!! Too excited!!

YOU GUYS!!! How are we going to find or know each other at orientation?? Anybody got a FB page going on yet?

I'm taking Med Term with 1300. I know 1300 is demanding but it is only 4-5 weeks. It will fly by especially with all the support we already have from each other!!

Advanced First Aid and Exercise, Wellness, and Lifestyle are Upper Level. I don't know if they offer them in the summer but they start with 3000 and are 3-4 credits each. They are under HHPS. I'm taking Med Term with 1300 just to meet 6 hours but it is not Upper Level.

I've heard a lot of ppl back out because they are not aware of the hard work the program requires so I'm sure spots will come open. Excited to meet you too!!

@HeartZebras My patience would be gone too since you having to uproot your family and still don't know a definitive answer. I hope you get in!!!

They really should started taking applications sooner that January and/or stop taking them earlier and this would give them more leeway with time and it would get us a notification quicker too. Especially on a year like this was where they had an increased amount of apps. I very anxious too but I'm sure they are working as fast as possible. 600+ apps in 30 business days. WOAH!

Hi ladies (and possible gents), I am also very anxiously awaiting UALR's decision which is why I am up at 12:30am when I have to be at work in the morning. I have a 3.6 GPA and an Associate of Science with honors from PTC. I DID NOT get in to UAMS last year so I didn't even apply this year. My teas score was low, 61%, and I didn't want to retake it at this time. I dont know what I'll do if I don't get in this year. I can't keep putting my life on hold. I hope the best for you ladies and post on here when you get your email!!

I finished all pre-reqs that UAMS required in 2014 and applied to them for entry Summer 14 and didn't get accepted. Devastated and not wanting to default on loans, I stayed at PTC for this last year and took some course needed for bachelors and one other class I needed for A.S. Now I have that degree with honors. Im frustrated because I have a 3.6 GPA, I do not have a grade below a B on my transcript spaning 5 years and I saw applicants who got in last year with the 3.0s. Granted, I did only score a 61% on teas test (I had too much going on) but again someone else I read about didn't make above a 65% and had a 3.0 and they got in. I'm not trying to harp on anyone's success, by any means, I just don't know what these schools want. And this isn't something I dreamed up last night. 6 years people!!! I'm very familiar with the health care field being I have been a family practice medical assistant for 5 years so I understand the dedication and energy that goes into it. Has anyone else experienced this much trouble??? I'm really feeling defeated. P.S. I only applied to UALR this year...no word from them yet
