Just applied for the Summer 2016 AAS-RN program. Long wait until March to find out whether I am have been accepted or not. Thought I would get a thread started for this years applicants!
Beware of pinebluff they have bad nclex scores not to say it's a bad program but they have the knack for passing people not prepared cause they ask and beg it's really easy to pass the classes.Had a teacher write a review once from nlr about how they give false hope to some for money. You get what you put in from anywhere you go regardless of your grade in the end so do what's right not what's expected and you will do great. But as for aid u can get your class half paid threw government grant just no loan.
I believe you are talking about the Nursing program at UAPB,(which is why that University lost but now regained their accreditation back this year) in Pine Bluff NOT Seark and Jefferson county Nursing programs. I can see how this can be easily confused hense They Have Three totally different RN programs in that area in Particular. As far as NCLEX SEARK has been in the top 4 highest Under National Park in Hot springs being #1. My only interest is about the schools I applied to in particular, or if Someone has or is Personally Enrolled themselves because misinformation can easily be spread. Ive researched very Carefully each cirriculum for the schools i applied so imnot worried.Wrong school, but Thanks for the info @RJMill07
Okay THANKS I will be on the look out, Im taking a nutrition class online over the summer, to pass the time away and keep me up on my toes with studying since Ive completed all the Pre Req.... I tried to apply for the Hospital tech position that someone previously spoke of, but all I see is full time positions...Is there still an opening for PRN?
Hi, If You are referring to the Heart Hospital, they may have filled a few at the moment but I would still keep an eye out bc they add and change needs based of departments. Ft/PT position isn't bad idea either depending on when u start (7a-7p or 7p-7a) for only 2-3days a week, then 5days off especially if you let them know you are in school and in need of set school schedule, other than that they allow you to transition to PRN after 90 probation period like most jobs.
I work with a lot of UALR new nurse grads that worked fulltime night shift bc you are able to sit at desk and study ,do HW , etc and still make it through UALR program...its a sacrifice I know, but very doable, So Dont count the option completely out:-) hope this helps....
