U.S.A. Arkansas

Published

Just applied for the Summer 2016 AAS-RN program. Long wait until March to find out whether I am have been accepted or not. Thought I would get a thread started for this years applicants!

Thanks everyone. Im not going to try at another school, Im really not up to the entrance exams and etc at other programs. I was recently in Chamberlain BSN program in Florida with only a year left to complete, but had to move. The closes Chamberlain school to Little Rock is in Dallas...I will continue at UALR for a Bachelors degree in Health Promotion (online classes) and apply again for Spring 2017 for Nursing..(if I keep getting declined, at least I have gotten somewhere with the Bachelors degree!) They cant say NO forever, and I will keep trying! I try to always look at it.... as things dont happen to us they happen for us! and it just wasnt my time :0) Good Luck to everyone that was accepted!

I feel the same when it comes to entrance exams. That's why UALR is my first choice, I have yet too receive anything. So I'm still waiting...Anyone else still waiting for an email?

Good luck to everyone! I think health promotions is a great degree! I was considering it myself as I waited. Entrance exams stink! I'd like to avoid those as well, so I get where you are both coming from. Maybe we'll all be classmates one day!

Flfuturern, how many of the prerequisite classes do you have finished? The more classes you have when you apply, the higher on the list you will be.

Today is the last day of June, I haven't received anything. Idk if it's a good or bad thing. Those that are still waiting, any update?

I have all pre req's completed and some Nursing courses completed as I was in pursuit for my BSN.

I was told that I am further down on the list being that I was already in a program and decided to withdraw. I will keep looking and I may have to break down and take Baptist ACT test to get this all over with! But good Luck to everyone!!!

Hi there! I was browsing UALR website today and I came across an A2 exam score requirement? Are we required to take an entrance exam other than the ACT to apply? : Sorry if this is a repetitive or silly question. I just don't remember seeing that there before. ...maybe I over looked it

There is not an entrance exam for UALR. I believe UALR nursing program is the only school that doesn't require an entrance exam.
