UALR Nursing Program Applicant 2016
I have all pre req's completed and some Nursing courses completed as I was in pursuit for my BSN. I was told that I am further down on the list being that I was already in a program and decided to withdraw. I will keep looking and I may have to break down and take Baptist ACT test to get this all over with! But good Luck to everyone!!!

Thanks everyone. Im not going to try at another school, Im really not up to the entrance exams and etc at other programs. I was recently in Chamberlain BSN program in Florida with only a year left to complete, but had to move. The closes Chamberlain school to Little Rock is in Dallas...I will continue at UALR for a Bachelors degree in Health Promotion (online classes) and apply again for Spring 2017 for Nursing..(if I keep getting declined, at least I have gotten somewhere with the Bachelors degree!) They cant say NO forever, and I will keep trying! I try to always look at it.... as things dont happen to us they happen for us! and it just wasnt my time :0) Good Luck to everyone that was accepted!

I tried to apply for the Hospital tech position that someone previously spoke of, but all I see is full time positions...Is there still an opening for PRN?

Well, its one day after the 7th.... I am hoping to hear something soon, I wonder if they will make it through the entire waitlist???? I also wonder how long do you have to submit payment for class once accepted? It is only 1 class for July correct? and after passing that class you go on to a full schedule with clinicals and etc??? right? I feel like its hard to get accurate information about program and calling or speaking to someone in the Nursing dept leads to a brick wall

I do understand, I have four kids, and a husband that just walked out on me after giving birth to kid #4! Trying to figure out how to pay for this program once accepted is difficult, but as he previously stated get creative.... Search every scholarship out there, I know for me we will have to move in with family until I complete this schooling...It will be hard but this struggle will be my motivation for success! Have you asked your employer about tuition reimbursement? Its hard but stay positive its money out there!

I called the Nursing dept number that was listed on line, I dont remember the person name that I spoke with specifically. She just asked was I previously in a Nursing program before.....I told her yes then gave her my Name she looked it up and said yes, everyone in your category will be reviewed and have a response in 30 days.....Im unsure of their methods in rating or how they magically select people All I know is I still havent heard anything else as of yet. So I'm staying hopeful.
